Biography
Jennifer began her Barnard experience in 1984 when she stepped on campus as a first-year student. After majoring in French, Jennifer attended Teachers College where she earned a Master’s degree in Student Personnel Administration and was the Graduate Assistant in the Office of Admissions at Columbia University. She then moved to Wesleyan University where she was an Assistant Dean of Admissions for three years before spending seven years at Eugene Lang College of The New School as the Director of Admissions. She came back to her alma mater in 2000 where she has served as Dean of Admissions, Dean of Enrollment Management, Vice President for Enrollment, Vice President for Enrollment and Communications, and now Vice President for Enrollment and External Relations.
Jennifer uses she/her/hers pronouns.

Why did you choose to work at Barnard?
The mission, the people, the location - to be able to introduce amazing young women to one of the world's greatest cities and impact their lives intellectually and personally is so gratifying. I love coming to work every day.
What is your favorite book?
Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy

What is your favorite thing to do in NYC?
Wandering the city on a free day. There is always something new to see - the architecture, new restaurants, galleries, flea markets, people watching.
What is your favorite place on campus?
The massive greenhouses on top of Milbank Hall.
What is a random fun fact about yourself?
I love to knit and bake (when I have time).
